Using unsplash.com we need to find high-quality images, pick 3 locations with different angles then do a breakdown of the pictures, finding the perspective, vanishing point, and the value.
here's are my attempt

the feedback that is given is careful with the horizon line but overall good attempt
After that, we need to do narrow down, find more picture and do the same exercises but without tracing and we pick 3 that we want to move it to project one.
This a good exercise for amateur artist, I hope i can improve more and definitely will do more valuable practices
After this moving to project one.
PROJECT ONE
Virtual Plein air
Without tracing or color pick we need to analyze and implement painting techniques to 3 location images from Unsplash to create photo-realistic painting. then we pick 1 to really focused on the details
A location that i picked is Mt. Bromo, Uluwatu, and Iceland.

Final Submission:
Feedback from Mr. Kannan, there is still more room to adds detail, there's still lacks here and there but overall it is a good attempt, he added if I can I should really add more detail on the Bromo one and really focus on that.
Invisible Set Extension
Overall this was a challenging project definitely because color picking wasn't allowed and adding the details ngl was hurting my eyes, overall im feel good for my result, I got closer to the image than I would've thought, it seems that Mr. Kannan prefer the Bromo one the most, but my favorite one is the Uluwatu because the Bromo is really hard. but I would gladly add more details but the time is very limited
After this moving to project two.
PROJECT TWO.
Invisible Set Extension
Using what we learn previously we need to make a photorealistic concept using photo bashing.
Heres are my ideas and sketches for project 2.
First Submissions
After some feedback from Mr.Kannan there some changes to be made and I also decided to make one more.
FINAL PROJECT.
Thematic Matte Painting (VFX)
Continuing from project one we need to make simple animation using after effect
I decided to use my sets two and three

same with the kelp tree, I also added sound effect
Reflection: I enjoy this module a lot because I like photo bashing and stuff but although I enjoy photo bash this is still a challenge. Taking a raw image and editing it to make it as realistic as possible is an exhausting process but I still fun it especially if the result is believable. Seeing my result I think I did good but I don't know if it's my best work, I just hope I have more time to do more there's still a lot of improvement I can do but time is running out. I learn a lot from this module especially with photoshop skills and it's broad my view more around the concept art world, maybe I can look more into a digital matte painter. It's also nice to practice more on landscape and I will continue practicing more.
