World-Building: Our first task will be surrounded by making our own world that has a Southeast Asian influence. There are two methods Approach 1: The inside-out method Good when you have a
story premise in mind Approach 2: The outside-in method Good when you have a general understanding of your world geography and boundaries.

Personification:

We started by brainstorming our world and character. for mine, I will heavily reference the Javanese culture, especially the city I live in Surabaya.

For the method for the story, I choose the inside-out method. 
For the world: My world will be located in a city called Shurabaia, Surabaya has a legend tale so i will use that tale as a base for my world.  "Legend betold the greatest battle of all times was the fight of the great shark, Surha with the great crocodile called Baia. The fight only concurs over their prey. The fight goes on beyond the life of humanity and neither of them has ever won or lost.  The land, the river, and the sea in the story are now called Surhabaia, named after them. The power of Sura and Baya has been heritage by the ancestors for centuries. As two people will choose to obtain power and together will protect the sake of the great city Surhabaia from the evil power. Hence, the city is known for The City of Heroes. The year is 2480, The City of Shurabaia slowly falling. Once was a glorified city that has a role as the heart of the world. For over the centuries the world lives peacefully but it all change when the last centuries, when the city was under attack by Gamma an evil land that wants to bring down Surhabaia. The war left monstrous damage, causing a catastrophe and unrepairable damage. The faith was no longer visible in the heart of the people, and the great power of Surha and Baia is believed just to be a fairytale. 
My main Character, her name is ann. her story is inspired by Mulan and Vinland Saga, in short, she wanted two save her father from the government of Shurabaia city.

Feedback: There is a premise, but a very thin one because it lacked the involvement of your character, Ann. You need to include her more in the story.

I think you are confused about the aspect of geographical reference. The visuals you have right now are more towards the look and feel of your setting. You identified mountain and sea, get more visuals on that, but from Java islands.

As for Ann, collect visual samples that you can use to help build her as a character.

After that, I started by designing Ann.
First, I need to make 10 thumbnail sketches (Silhouettes and Value)

My first one is a little bit wonky, so Ms. Anis suggested that I use the symmetry tool on photoshop.

After I got the thumbnail sketch it's moving to progression sketch. I'm playing with the hair, outfits, and weapons.
