Instruction

our final project was to create a future cityscape it could be a utopia or a dystopia, my ideas are to make a dystopia city so I begin to make my sketches

My first idea was to make my composition behind a broken window but it sort of makes my composition seems cramp as Mr. Jeffrey also said it looks like a prison, I felt like it doesn't really seem right so I decided to ditch the ideas.

Then I make  a new city with a centerpiece, the reason why I made the building n the center so bright is I wanted to make a hierarchy the building because it is the main object on the composition
I also added some smoke effect and fog

After making the composition I begin to make the color for the project I decided to make it purple hue because I want the picture looks a bit monochromatic

Feedback from Mr. Jeffry is that my overall composition is not that great, because looking at it there is too much going on, Mr. Jeffrey said the color is really nice but a few things don't belong there like the Boeing like a plane. Mr. Jeffrey also added that it doesn't look more dystrophic enough and when I ask what I should add ore to this project he said nothing should be added but it's needed a better arrangement,

After finishing the still image I begin to make the animation on after effect.
My idea for the animation is to make the light of the building to shift color and I want to make the airplane move.

For the animation what i did is making the lighting shift and also make a fire effect and I also added movement on the planes
